Leadership has long been critical in developing more effective communication and engagement. This Master Class is designed for communicators who want to understand how they can help their leaders become better communicators and help themselves shift from servants to trusted advisors. You’ll also learn tools and techniques to help you gain some practice in applying them in a workshop format.

The working session will be guided by one of the leading international figures in this field and a senior practitioner at the forefront of thinking and application in the private sector. Bill Quirke is one of the leading authorities on engaging employees in change and is a regular speaker internationally, and one of the IABC’s six “All Star Speakers".  Simon Hardaker is the Director, Group Employee Communications at the engineering company GKN. Simon is responsible for developing and implementing engagement and communication strategy for the company.

The Master Class will be of special interest to senior communicators who devise communication strategies and advise leaders on key outcomes, audience analysis and messaging.  This could include practitioners in head of communications functions, and above, in large organisations; Communication Directors in smaller organisations; senior HR or marketing people with responsibility for internal communication; it could also be of interest to senior line managers.

The cost of the Master Class is £75 for IABC members and £90 for non-members.
